Developer Relations & Marketing

In this role you’ll be responsible for interacting with the development community, managing outreach (blog, social media, etc.), and organizing events. You'll work closely with the team, both development and sales, to build competent, helpful content for our current and future customers.

Requirements
  • Proven record of marketing SaaS products
  • Experience marketing technical products to development and QA organizations
  • Ability to speak and write for a technical audience
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation concepts
Front-End Developer

In this role you’ll create and refine AppThwack's visual components and user experience. We work with a lot of data, much of it real-time, and it's a must that it's presented in meaningful, clear ways. You'll work closely with the team, designers, and customers to build great experiences.

Requirements
  • MVC web frameworks
  • Comfortable with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
  • Familiarity with real-time applications and templating (client- and server-side)
  • Graphic design skills a plus
  • Python experience a plus
  • Ability to create well-written documentation and articles about your work and ideas

Dev Ops Intern

In this paid internship you’ll be responsible for ensuring AppThwack’s device lab and infrastructure runs as smoothly as possible by automating and optimizing our internal processes and possibly introducing new ones. Our lab has over 250 devices, a sophisticated network infrastructure, racks of servers, and other gear that must run 24/7 in order to provide our customers with the best experience possible.

Requirements
  • Linux (general use, bash, ssh)
  • Appreciation for automation of menial tasks
  • Experience with Salt a plus
  • Electrical Engineering experience a plus
Software Engineer Intern

In this paid internship you’ll be responsible for aiding in the design, development, deployment, and support of existing and new functionality on the AppThwack platform. You’ll be involved in all steps of our development process where you’ll be expected to contribute and interpret ideas and transform them into real, workable solutions for our customers.

Requirements
  • Linux (general use, bash, ssh)
  • Python
  • MVC web framework experience
  • Comfortable debugging issues in a large code base
  • Experience with customer response and issue investigation
  • Experience with distributed processing and remoting a plus
  • Good writing skills (documentation, blogging, etc)
